I posted this on the Help required thread...figured it needed to be here.

About 90 mins ago...I volunteered to help pack supplies bound for Puerto Rico. They got hammered by Hurricane Fiona. Football is one thing...helping people after a disaster is another.

Therefore, I will now be gone until late Saturday...probably around 4 PM (my time). I'm just one of a couple hundred folks in my diocese doing this. We're hoping to fill up an entire tractor-trailer rig. It will be full of cleaning supplies, baby clothing, assorted other clothing, and non-perishable food.

My apologies for the late notice...they didn't ask me due to my heart. I'm doing this any way. Besides, I'll be seated to pack....I'll be okay.

Our diocese (Pensacola to Tallahassee) is hoping to fill 2 C-'141 transport planes. I have no doubt that we can do this!!

So....you guys will have to hold the fort until about 5 PM my time. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
