HHH has done nothing but squash since he returned at SS. the only "big" match he didn't win was against jeff hardy, that way he could take a WM 24 spot away from someone deserving, like Jeff Hardy. i know he is suspended anyway, but Jeff Hardy should have been in the main event. he has had a major push this last year. they just gave the main event spot to HHH because he is HHH, not because he deserved it. Jeff Hardy has had better matches than HHH this year anyway

He had a main event spot MITB. That was a match that could showcase his talents. Give him a chance to steal the show, but he blew it. You are correct they gave the spot to HHH because he is HHH. He is one of the top guys in the company beause he is that good. Whether he is heel or face he is a moneymaker.

HHH is good, but he should not have been in the main event. he goes around backstage politicing. he is not in the main event because of his ability, he is in the main event because of steph. i would be for a short HHH title run of maybe a month or two, but i think that if he wins, he'll be champ for a long while. i really don't want to see another lengthy Cena title run again either, but Cena deserves to be champ due to the fact that he worked his butt off to get back in time for Mania. he may not be the best wrestler, but cena does try harder than alot of the guys

I wanna see Orton retain badly, Cena has had his mega push and triple H doesn't need it. and if Orton wins it would give him good heel heat he derserves a long reign.

Once again the Money in the Bank match steals the show, but definitely a solid show top to bottom.

I will have to wait until tomorrow evening or Tuesday when it becomes available on the internet for free to see it.

I was having a hard time keeping up with the updates. Time Warner has been having some major issues since Saturday afternoon with the internet and digital phones. The internet was worse than having dial up. I could only get 1 page to come up at a time and had to refresh it several times before it would finally load. So it took me quite some time to check the updates and report them here.

We just got back up to full speed less than a half hour ago...I am having fun once again!

For those that did not see WM24 or that will not be able to see it, here is a link and the step by step updates I was getting the results from... So you won't have to worry about the ads popping up, I have also posted the updates below.

From http://www.wrestleattitude.com/news-article.storyid-1053.htm

PRE-Show:

- The WrestleMania Battle Royal Freeview kicks off with the various WWE Superstars making their way to the ring. The place looks awesome with the sun shining down.

The WWE Superstars make their way to the ring with the faces coming down first then the heels. The last man out is Snitsky. All men came down to the same WrestleMania theme song.

The match starts off with Festus knocking a few guys down to kick the match off.

Festus eliminates Deuce then Domino, throwing them over the top rope. Khali is working on Hacksaw Duggan and eventually eliminates him to a chorus of boo's from the crowd. The Miz fights with Stevie Richards on the ring apron until Elijah Burke eliminates Stevie. Elijah turns around and gets chokeslammed over the top rope by Kane.

WWE's video keeps freezing up but The Miz just got eliminated by it looked like Jamie Noble. Noble tries to eliminate Cody Rhodes but he hangs on and takes Noble over the top rope to the apron but both men hang on.WWE's video has pretty much froze at this point but it looks like Mark Henry eliminates Jimmy Wang and Shannon Moore. Jesse gets eliminated as well.Brian Kendrick was eliminated by Kofi Kingston it looks like. It's down to mostly big guys now.Mark Henry threw Kofi over the top rope onto 2 other Superstars on the floor, eliminating them all.

WWE's video has improved a little bit and we see Khali and Mark Henry battling on the ropes. Jamie Noble gets tossed over but stays in the match by walking on other Superstars backs. He gets eliminated by Palumbo eventually who gets eliminated by Khali.

It's Dreamer, Holly, Kane, Khali, Henry and Snitsky now. Khali goes over the top rope followed by Holly and Dreamer. It's now Kane, Snitsky and Mark Henry'Snitsky and Henry double team on Kane. Snitsky taunts the fans and gets eliminated by Mark Henry. It's now Kane and Mark Henry with Kane walking into a powerrslam by Henry. Kane counters it and kicks Henry over the top rope with a big boot to win the match.

Winner: Kane

WrestleMania Opener:

- We kick off WrestleMania 24 with three jets flying over the Citrus Bowl and Lilian Garcia welcomes us to WrestleMania 24. Lilian introduces 5 time Grammy winning and multi platinum singer John Legend, who does his rendition of America The Beautiful. Legend finishes his performance and we cut to a video of Triple H, Edge, Ric Flair and others talking about WrestleMania.

- We're back at the Citrus Bowl now and the pyro explodes like never before and here we are. Jim Ross welcomes us to WrestleMania 24 in Orlando!

JBL vs. Finlay

JBL makes his way to the ring first for the WrestleMania opening match, coming down the isle in his usual limousine. As JBL enters the ring, we cut to a video package of the events leading up to this match with Vince, Hornswoggle, Finlay and JBL. After the video package, we're back in the Citrus Bowl as the music hits and Finlay makes his way to the ring with shilleigh in hand. Finlay stops and calls out Hornswoggle who makes his way to the ring with Finlay.

Finlay hits the ring and JBL meets him with a boot. They go right to the floor and start brawling with JBL in control. Finlay reverses the attack and slings JBL into the steel steps. We make it in the ring finally and the bell rings. Finlay gets on top of JBL and starts pummeling him before going outside to the ring and bringing in a trash can, kendo sticks and other items. Finlay comes in the ring but gets caught by a trash can shot from JBL. JBL picks up a pan and trash can lid and whacks Finlay over the head a few times.

JBL hits a big clothesline on Finlay and goes back outside to bring in a part of the steel steps into the ring. JBL comes back in the ring and kicks Finlay in the head. JBL grabs Finlay and goes to piledrive him ontop of the steel steps. Finlay reverses and drops JBL on his back on the mat. Finlay mounts an offense now, using the steel lid on JBL, hitting him in the head over and over again. Finlay covers for a 2 count. Finlay comes off the ropes but gets hit by a big boot from JBL. JBL stomps on Finlay's fingers and hits him with right hands in the corner. JBL grabs the shillelah and stalks him from behind until Hornswoggle comes in with a kendo stick and hits JBL. JBL turns around and gets hit by the shillelah by Finlay.

Back on the floor again and Finlay brings JBL back inside. Finlay continues to be in control and goes back outside for a table. Finlay brings the table inside the ring as Hornswoggle encourages him. Finlay sets the table up in the turnbuckle as JBL gets up. Finlay goes to throw JBL into the table but JBL counters and they go back and forth that ends with Finlay clotheslining JBL. Finlay picks the steel steps up and JBL rolls outside. On the floor, JBL catches Hornswoggle and knocks him down. Finlay comes to the outside and slams JBL's head into the announcers table over and over again.

We go back in the ring but JBL rolls out of the other side with a trash can lid in hand. Finlay comes leaping over the top rope at JBL on the floor but JBL swings the steel lid and smacks Finlay in the head with a sick thud. Back in the ring and JBL covers Finlay for a 2 count. JBL picks the trash can up and throws it at Hornswoggle on the floor, knocking him over. Finlay gets up and catches a trash can over the head. JBL goes for the Clothesline from Hell but gets whacked with a trash can followed by numerous shots from a trash can lid. Finlay drops JBL with another big move but misses the pinfall. Finlay gets JBL up and slings him through the table that's in the turnbuckle. Finlay covers for only a 2 count. Finlay picks the steel steps up and goes for JBL but gets hit in the knee by JBL with a kendo stick. JBL comes off the ropes and hits the Clothesline from Hell and gets the pinfall.

Money in the Bank Ladder Match

Out first is WWE Tag Team Champion John Morrison followed by RAW's Carlito. Out next is ECW's Shelton Benjamin followed by former ECW Champion CM Punk. The crowd in the Citrus Bowl looks amazing and the structure over the ring is interesting to say the least. Out next is last year's winner, Mr. Kennedy. Mr. Kennedy comes out with a new get up it looks like, some warm-up pants and vest. Kennedy runs right under the ladder propped up at ringside. The briefcase is hanging high above the ring as Kennedy makes his way into the ring. Out next is the WWE United States Champion MVP. Amazing. In the ring, Kennedy tries to climb the ladder but gets stopped by Y2J. Jericho twists him in the Walls of Jericho. Kennedy slides out and goes to climb the top rope and reaches the briefcase.

Jericho falls off the ladder and Morrison and Kennedy end up fighting up top of the ladder. Shelton comes over and tries to grab the ladder and the three of them fight until Shelton falls off. Shelton knocks Carlito off the ladder and they go at it. Shelton drops Carlito with a big spinning kick and he goes back for the ladder to get the briefcase. Shelton reaches the briefcase but Carlito and Kennedy dump him over the top rope onto a pile of ladders on the floor. Unbelievable! Kennedy and Carlito begin to fight for the ladder!

Y2J, Carlito and Kennedy climb the top of the ladder for the briefcase but MVP pushes them over. Morrison knocks MVP down and goes for the briefcase. Y2J climbs the ladder and locks a submission move onto Morrison ontop of the ladder.Kennedy grabs a ladder and climbs up for the briefcase on another ladder. Hardy looks around as the crowd explodes and he leaves back through the crowd.

Morrison climbs the bent ladder and goes for the briefcase but it falls, hitting Punk and others. Y2J gets a ladder again and goes to set it up in the ring. Jericho climbs the ladder, reaching for the briefcase until Carlito comes up and spits an apple in his face, making him fall. Carlito grabs the briefcase but Kennedy comes from behind and knocks him off. Punk knocks Kennedy off the ladder but gets hit by a Codebreaker from Y2J and a ladder. Y2J goes to climb the ladder again while everyone else is down. Punk gets up and starts shaking the ladder but Jericho fights back with kicks and punches. That was a great WM Orton retaining alone made it great. Im very suprised they let him retain and esspically at WM against two of the biggest faces in the industry now. Taker/Edge was great started off slow but got way better and HBK/Flair was a great moment.

like i said, i only watched from flair/hbk on (stupid computer), but what i saw was great. hbk/flair was amazing. i thought that emotion alone would make it good, but hbk and flair gave it their all. hhh/cena/orton was really good. orton winning made it good. edge/taker was awesome. it started out a little slow, but ended up being a great match. i heard from a friend that the mitb match was good as well.

Overall I thought it was a great PPV. The MITB match, HBK-Flair, and Kane's win made it great. The Undertaker-Edge match was really good. I thought the triple threat match sucked. It had good spots, but was to short. The ending was really weak.

hbk vs flair was the greatest thing i have ever seen. i almost cried when hbk gave that last super-kick. edge vs taker was really great. i also loved the wwe title match. while it wasn't as good as hbk/flair or edge/taker, it was still a solid match.
