What is it like to play for Head Coach Pflug?

Playing for coach Pflug you have to be tough mentality and physically because he will challenge you every day to be better and

What are your personal goals for this season?

My personal goal is to stay healthy for the whole season with no injury and get a ring by the time December comes rolling

What will the 2023 Cavaliers have to do better to improve on the 6-5 record from 2022?

Well, a head start we already have a new coaching staff that understands the game and our players more than last year’s coaches and With the team we have this year I feel like we are more locked in than ever and everyone is focused on the same goal which is a ring, so as long as we have no distractions off the field the improvement is going to be there!

What is your favorite part of practice?

My favorite part of practice is offensive Indy drills with the Wr’s when we all compete with each other to become better

Which game are you looking forward to most this season, along with the reason why?

Roger Bacon because I didn’t get a chance to play them last year and they are out rivalry along with senior night so I’m really excited for that game

What are the biggest things you need to improve on to become more dominant on the field?

I need to improve the way I take care of my body off the field like stretching and Sleep so that I can be at my best

Who has been the best player you have faced, along with the team he played for?

If we’re talking all of high school I would say Corey Kiner for Roger Bacon my freshman year

What has been your biggest personal achievement as an athlete?

I really haven’t been able to achieve anything this far due to my injuries but I can say my Improvement from an athlete from sophomore year to junior year was a big jump in size and athleticism

What would you tell that first-year starter right before the opening night kickoff?

I would tell them to not be scared and be ready to hit but stay calm and ain’t no reason to be too nervous

How long have you played football, along with the reasons you continue to play?

I’ve played football for about 3-4 years in little league and then started back in high school but I continue to play because it brings opportunity like no other sport and it is a great team game that creates bonds you a never lose also being on the field just feels like home

Where should the state finals be held?

I think it should be held in the Bengals stadium

What are your thoughts on 16 teams from each region making the playoffs?

I feel like that’s good and that’s an accurate way to do it

What is one food you enjoy that most others do not?

I enjoy chicken Alfredo and soul food

What is your favorite class or subject?

My favorite class is history

What is your dream job?

I would love to be an author and write books
