This was arguably one of the best games in the area last year ending in a 9-6 panther victory. Last years game went till nearly midnight due to multiple lightning delays. I believe this one will be just as good in the first half but then the Panthers will pull away. The Spartans lost a good bit from last year but they are still coached well so I know they won't stop fighting.

I started the thread, talked about last years game and this years game and it went no where

Huge test for the Spartans this week. Can we stop the running attack from Chesapeake and can we limit turnovers? The turnovers and mistakes killed us last year.

Chesapeake did struggle with turnovers against oak hill, luckily oak hill struggled more. I'd say ball control will be a key to the Panthers week of preparation before they head to Alexander. I really think this will be a good game because I know Coach Penrod will have Alex ready but the Panthers are only 1-2 big plays away from breaking the game open. So I will stick to my first post, the first half will be neck and neck but the panthers will pull away in the second half. Peake by 2+ TD's
