bronc,

No the South Division is hosting all five of the DOC games. Therefore, Chilly (South) host Zanesville. Whomever finished second in the South will host the 2nd place North team (Warren I suppose).

Much different then last year. Should increase the overall gates. I would still like to see more of a ceremony then last year (win or lose). I think the champions ought to be recognized. It is tough enough the Division Winners are not recognized, but not to give out the overall champion something on this day disturbs me.

I know Z-Ville is pulling out, but I would like to see the remaining schools debate this and come up with something better. I am not sure how many other leagues do this, but I can't believe it is many.

So only the Chillicothe/Zanesville game will be held at Chilli. I'm surprised they changed the format. The new format prevents the league the opportunity to see all the teams in action on the same day. I saw all the games last year and thought it was a good idea. I guess it's a good thing, however, because the gym will sell out with only this particular game. Therefore, pre-game tickets would likely only be available to the local and Zanesville teams. That could dissapoint folks that wanted to see this game unless some of the game times were staggered.

bit...

bit-hitch said season passes would be honored but i'm just trying to clarify if that will simply get me in the door or will my usual seat be reserved for me?

just found out that, YES your season ticket will get you in the door and your seat will remain the same. only those without season tickets will need to buy them and they will go on sale tomorrow at the high school.

Update to all:

Season Ticket Holders will get their normal seats, therefore, their tickets are honored. Also Chilly, will be announcing a pre-sale on the game that will allow a certain number of tickets to be sold to the Students and the public.

Also, Zanesville will be given an allotment of tickets to sale at their school and in their community. They will sit in the sections reserved for visitors.

Overall there will be security and ushers to make sure people are going to the correct place.

SUGGESTION: Once you see the date and time tickets go on sale at Chilly, go get them, because I have a feeling they will go quick. I have had request for over 40 plus tickets all ready.

Kudo's to our Board of Education (in particular Steve Mullins) for pulling this off at last nights meeting. This is out of the norm, but considering the magnitude of this championship game, an exception was made.

Tonight, we need to take care of Portsmouth and then move to the next game.

GO CAVS!!!
