Young, not anymore. You have Breitenbach and Daniels two seniors who have seen quality time since beginning of Jr year. Next you have Brabson, Smith and Helton 3 juniors who have seen quality time since beginning of their sophomore year. Next you have Southworth and Miller 2 soph who have been in varsity games since the beginning of the season and Legg and Brush freshmen who also have seen quality varsity time since the beginning of the season.

So between 9 players they have played in roughly 272 games from last year to this one. That is an average of 30 games per player. They still need to play within themselves and shore up that Defense.

I agree. You can no longer blame youth. This team hasn't seemed to improve as the season goes on. No one seems to play they're roll and they seem to play with no emotion. Most teams resemble they're coaches. And from what I've seen Lisath stands on the side lines with his arms crossed with very little emotion. JMO Kids don't seem ready to play.

Once again, I don't know why everyone is hitting panic mode...Yes, last night was a game the Streaks should've/could've won....However, they hold Clay Rolle to 10 points...Unexpectedly, the Hauserman kid and Uhrig kid have the games of their lives...That happens when you play road games against a team at the time is tied for 2nd place. Yes, it is true Piketon has a lot of talent...but they're 12-7 right now, that's not bad...and honestly, they have a chance to make it deep in the tourney. They likely will still finish tied for 2nd in the league....Adena has to play Huntington Friday night; Zane Trace lost to paint Valley (who Piketon beat by approximately 30 the game before)...so, keep the faith!!! Go Streaks!

Side note...cody smith played with the flu last night

Being someone who has played for Lisath i find it hard to believe that he does not have his players ready to play.

Other than the Huntington game, all of the SVC losses were single digits, and take away the tough Greenfield and Columbus Mifflin games and replace them with cupcakes you have at least a 14-5 season, going into the final game with a chance for second place. The team does have some talent, but not very mature. I believe the coaching staff has put them in the best possible position to win games, but mental mistakes has cost them two losses (ZT, Adena). Lisath's demeanor has been intense at times, but in my opinion from sitting behind the bench during home games, it has an adverse effect on the kids. What does that have to do with anything anyway? You ever seen Phil Jackson get excited and I can name several other successful coaches that demonstrate a calm demeanor on the sidelines. My criticism would be two key players on the floor sometimes appear to play selfish and lack defensive efforts, other than that...I think they will pull together during the tournament and all sins will be forgotten.

I predicted 12-13 wins at the beginning of the season. When they were 8-2, I thought my prediction would be low. Losing to Greenfield, Huntington twice and Mifflin at home hurt, but not as much as the other 3 losses-SE, ZT, and Adena, all on the road, and by a total of 10 points. Those 3, I think, showcase that the Streaks still have some growing to do. All 3 were games they should have won, but for a variety of reasons, did not. The Streaks have 4 double digit losses and 3 double digit wins, so experience playing down to the wire should help. It's up to the Seniors and Juniors to come thru in the clutch.

The Streaks are still in very good shape. Tough losses happen to everyone, especially on the road.

They don't have the easiest draw for the tournament, but they have expierence in close games and a good tournament coach, IMO.

The way they are playing as of late, I don't see a very deep tourney run as people say. I hope so, but don't see it happening.

OOB- I think they have the tools to make a run to the Convo, but will face 2 pretty solid teams on the way there. Westfall being the 11 seed is a scary thought. They are a very athletic club, that if they could ever pull it together, I could see causing some trouble in the tournament.
