Sorry, maybe she wasn't from Vinton County, but from all accounts I heard she wasn't from Oak Hill either.I'm not the one bashing you the post above mine is....I'm just piling on...LOL

We had a girl that moved to Chillicothe from Oak Hill last year that wasn't even from Oak Hill to start with.I believe she was from Vinton County?? Imagine that.... Her time with the Lady Cavs was short lived however.

Just wondered why all of you guys take the time to slam kids that are in high school.
Kids aren't jealous...........parents are.

Shouldn't you guys be more worried about education?
I was and that was the reason for our move.

My son played proudly for Jackson and my husband and I would not give up any of the time we spent with the Jackson KIDS....
no matter what sport we happened to be coaching.
And look where that got Dave.
Falsely accused and ran out of the high school.


As for Lady Oaks not getting any "ball" scholarships............
you guys are sad............
These girls know what is important:

Lacey Adkins is on a full ride to OU - academically
Kaylin Marshall and Brittany are also heading to college.
Karla Moore is going to go into premed.

Do you still think that the girls at Oak Hill only aspire for playing basketball?

She was leading in scoring this year last time I checked the stats. I see a lot of locals supporting her over at the games.

oak hill has the best program and coach in seo hands down. i dont live in jackson or vinton county, just know what ive seen.

when Ironton was winning seoal titles hand over fist in football they had every school within 40 miles as their farm team.. if a kid wants to transfer its not the schools fault but do not take credit like there home grown talent....alot of kids on oak hills team are not from oak hill origionally, they might have a grandmothers or aunts there but not the parents unless they have moved, but again they have the best program and I feel the best in se ohio too but they have 3 girls from vinton county, 1 from gallipolis, 1 from minford, 1 from jackson.....again this is not their fault and shouldnt be drilled about this...south webster had girls transfer in, Gallipolis did, it happens all the time but when you win alot its is noticed more but i will admit this team is like an AAU team.. wow I would love to coach this team... Oaks will Have a great year. This is not a slap at ironton football...its the best around but kids will want to go where the grass is greener.
