1989: state title game
1997: state semi finals against versailles
2004: wk 6 vs ports. They line up in shotgun on 1st n goal on about the 8 and the ball is picked off and returned ro the house by smiley for the game tying td
2008: wk 1 vs ironton. Burg won 23-22 on a last sec td
2015: state semi finals against cold h2o

2009: wk 3 burg rolls ports 68-14 to hand them their first loss at the new diggs.

09 is a toss up for me between the 04 game. I couldn't decide which
Dogg, last years game against coldh2o would be in the top 5 a** whoopins of all time. Lol
Haha. No doubt. But you remember 03@ Peake. Big underdogs and we showed up and blew the doors off that place. I remember getting stuff thrown at the bus and riding away with our helmets on. Lol. Fun times, fun times.

Can't forget to mention the win at ironton in 1990
I thought about that one, then I remembered week 11.
Doesn't diminish the season opening shutout in the Tank! :D
Not to mention broke Irontons home win streak they had going!

honestly I don't see how ironton posters can participate in this topic, as we apparently have a different type of past games or most exciting games.but our history does not count here for some reason. I have a whole list of them. but i'll keep them to myself. 40 years of history nobody thinks happened.

We all know it happened bait, dry your eyes. However, ironton isn't the only school with 40+ years of good history. So share your top 5 that you heard about (because we all know you haven't seen any) and move on. No need to draw more attention to yourself.
