No I just stated my opinion on drugs, people disagreed and we had an arguement. That happens IRL, deal with it. You just posted a picture of a wishing troll and wrote "you should make this your avitar."

You're acting like a troll.

maybe you should wish that you can become something other than a troll?

you talk about IRL a lot. do you think this is just a fantasy board?
I've actually met a lot of people on here...have you? Where are you even from.

Wow, talk about going off topic, and starting an argument.

I think it's best to ignore trolls like you.

I'm surprised that there are a few people that actually do respond to you on here.

I live for refuting comments of half-wits like you.

Too bad any time you try to say something involving marijuana, it's something totally off the wall. Therefore, anyone here can easily refute it and chances are I don't get to it first. But yet, sometimes, I am the first one to see your un-American, hippie posts--which are very comical.

How is it off the wall? You want to keep it illegal with absolutely no reasoning at all. I don't see how supporting to make something harmless illegal as un-American. The only thing you're doing to support your side is making fun of me. It's like arguing with a 5 year old or a stupid hick.

A stupid hick?

Are you familiar with Hank Williams Jr at all? Specifically the song: Country Boy Can Survive...
"A stupid hick" is going to outlast you in most circumstances, buddy.

Regardless, back on topic...sort of...

All you say is that marijuana won't kill you. Uhh, that's great. It definitely screws you up.

Why do you want marijuana legal?
For substitute of a painkiller? Painkillers you pop in your mouth or hook up to your vein. Weed...you smoke. No one gets high when you pop a pill. People can get contact highs from you smoking your marijuana. Whether someone wants to or not, they are getting high from a posting.php?mode=reply&f=18&t=45555
• Post a replysubstance not prescribed to them. Plus, they are getting secondhand smoke.

What about operating a motor vehicle?
Your reflexes aren't as quick when you're under the influence of marijuana. Plus, the pretty lights of the local strip club (because of the bad road America is going down...) might be more interesting to pay attention to than the boring old road.

How do you suppose we regulate marijuana?
Just do it? What about the fact that one bud could get someone baked and the same bud could barely get another person buzzing. How do you regulate that? You can't. Plus, commercial marijuana used for medicinal purposes is sold around $10-20 higher than most street prices! People will still grow their own and sell it illegally. Plus, who's going to grow this? Is the government going to let farmers grow it so they can make some money? Or is the government going to subsidize this and become drug dealers themselves? Our government is already responsible for pills, why in the world would they make themselves responsible for even more drugs?

What about people who actually want to be successful in life? Would you want a stoner making the decisions that top-ranking military officials make? Or politicians? Or doctors?

Stupid people don't survive. Most hicks are stupid, therfor hicks won't survive.

People can O.D. on painkillers and are extremely addicting. You ever hear of morphine? It's a painkiller and is extremely addicting and withdrawal systems include heart attacks, strokes, cold flashes, and more.

It isn't save to drive under the influence of alcohol, but that's legal.

Why would it be the governments problem if someone doesn't get as high as the other person? We could always grow our own marijuana and smoke it freely. Or if someone has a lot of farm land they can grow it and sell it.

Your last question is a joke. Bill Clinton, Bob Dylan, George W. Bush (he did coke too), Al Gore, The Beatles, college proffessors, most people have smoke weed once. You act as if weed makes you a zombie. The only zombie I see is you, who believes everything those crapy Above the Influence commercials say.

Yes, I've heard of morphine.

Let's talk about analgesics for a second. Yes, very addicitve. However, when natural opiates are used, they are more addictive. Morphine, Oxycontin(which is government produced heroin), thebaine, etc. are very addictive.

But, the more synthetic the opiate is, the less addictive (and the more worthless on the street) it is.

Semi-synthetic opiates (like oxycodone, hydrocodone, etc.) are addicting, but not as addicting.

Fully synthetic opiates are practically worthless on the street and aren't that addicting--especially if the analgesic is used properly. An example of a fully synthetic opiate is propoxyphene (aka darvocet). Darvocet is completely worthless on the street and is only addicting if severely abused.

I talk about street worth because that's one big use of painkillers...outrageous prices + feigns = cash money.

How could the government regulate marijuana if citizens grow it themselves? Everyone would then grow it themselves. You smoke...you know hydro is better...

There's a difference between smoking once and smoking all the time.

The Beatles are not great because they smoked weed. They were always great and just happened to do drugs (with the exception of road tripper, lucy in the sky with diamonds, etc.)

Charlie Wilson (not OH-6) did coke too! We're not talking about cocaine. Honestly I'd rather a politician be a cokehead than a pothead, but that's a totally different story.

By the way...I don't care about "above the influence". You sound like you are within 5-10 years of my age...anyone close to my age is going to think those commercials are a joke. I think they are a joke.

The Beatles is exactly my point. You said weed would make people failures, and the Beatles smoked it and they were still successful.

How about we do a test? I smoke a bunch of weed and you take a handful of FDA approved opiates, and we'll see who's alive.

You buy.

The Beatles would be great regardless of drug use.

Why don't you explain yourself instead of just making accusations legendkiller.

I'd be happy to "attack" your views as well.
