Local news says gas will go between 7-10 a gal

Post by LICKING COUNTY FAN »

It's going to happen so what will you do? The time frame given was 6 months to a year from now with two years being the longest time we have until this occurs.
I will have to quit my job and take two part time jobs that are in walking distance of my home.

What changes will you make and who do you blame for this

A couple of guys that work in maintenance at my plant have a couple of vehicles running on water that they just about have finalized. Pretty neat.

do you think there will be any part time jobs available? because everyone will be looking for a 2nd or 3rd job if gas goes to that :122246

In many of the smaller towns/cities the so called " mom & pop stores " will be
shut down because they can not afford to stay in business, so therefore a lot of
places would not be within walking distance for those wanting a second or third job.
Something is going to have to give. Many middle class families are struggling
to make it (even when there are 3-4 jobs in the household). People are struggling
to make house/car payments, utilities, groceries, gas, and so on. People are also
worried whether their job will be put on the chopping block as well.
When is it going to end??

I hear ya, Brother! (or Sister....whichever the case may be)

I have my income and that is it.

I don't have a spouse/partner to help me out.

You might think that is an option, I am sure you were joking, however the Amish are even struggling with gas prices because the feed for their horses have gone up almost doubled then compared to a year ago. Hopefully one of these days some higher up will get the big picture and throw some relief our way. Until then, we will have to pick our trips and conserve fuel.

I want to know who the dumb arse's are that are payiong that much for it.

My theroy is stop paying that amount, use the reserves, then the price will come down when the oil companies are going broke because no one is buying it.

All we have to do is stop buying oil from overseas for 1 day and they will have no place to store it. Then shut off all foreign trade to those Countries or make them pay out the a-- like we have been doing for their oil. It's way past time that the Americans speak out and rebel for the royal screwing we are taking from our Goverment.

Everytime they raise the price of oil we, the USA should triple the price of anything we ship to them and we need to stop helping every country out there and worry about our own.

I've always said that someone could make an engine run on water and air.

Back when I was in high school we always got a weekly reader type magazine and there was an article in one of them that told about a man who invented an engine that ran on water. The fed gov. bought the rights to it and if I can remember correctly he was killed in a single car accident on a road he had driven on his entire life. They called the wreck very mysterious.

They have figured it out, where going to have to have it and will pay what ever they charge . If they make it 20 dollars a gallon we are going to buy it. We gotta get to work and back. Just have to start the bus system back up. It showed on the news alot of people in Columbus have parked there cars, and bought monthly bus passes. There saving several hundred dollars a month.
