No you didn't hurt my feelings or anything like that. I just didn't want them slandered in any way. They really do a great job, and put a lot into each game and really enjoy what they do and they let those of us who can't be there listen to the games.

We are fortunate we have had someone doing the games all these years. Some teams don't have any coverage at all so I appreciate all they do and also glad they got coaches corner.I just wish the school would show them games on tape delay TV again so people could see what happened that couldn't make it.

Re: Jackson 46 Logan 14
Loved it when Nixon had the program and showed the delay with Ed Fickle and Barry Metzler and Joe Freeman did the stats.
GO LOGAN..The anti-Christ is among us

I liked it too. They always got them a big ole Pizza Crossing pizza every Friday night in the booth.noreply66 wrote:Loved it when Nixon had the program and showed the delay with Ed Fickle and Barry Metzler and Joe Freeman did the stats.

Re: Jackson 46 Logan 14
A little surprised at the point differential in this one given Logan beating Athens in Week 6. Thought maybe the Chiefs were finding their way a little.
Congrats to Jackson, heard Hall threw for almost 300.
Plan on catching the Winton Woods game on Saturday in a few weeks.

I would say Logan had two freshman playing significant time (The Ruff bros, nos. 28 and 29).
The kicker (Charlie Kline, #17) as well, but he didn't see time on offense/defense, at least while starters were still playing.
A few others may play on kick coverage.

Congrats to Jackson on title #25.
Another great coaching effort and execution from the Ironmen staff and players. They are not the completely dominant physical team of the last two years, but obviously plenty good enough to dominate Logan.
And although Logan's secondary had its break downs, remember that the only points Logan scored came directly off of a pair of interceptions. Logan's also having trouble getting a pass RUSH to go along with coverage in the back.
The offense is what it is. Not really physical enough to pound it into 8-9 man boxes, but not efficient enough in the passing game to force defenses out of 8-9 man boxes.
I think they missed Landon Little and Casey Heft the other night. Both guys had really been coming on as consistent contributors.

Glad Jackson got the win, but it was bittersweet given the end of these two teams in the SEOAL.
If the game announcement was right this series ended 43-43 (I know locos has different numbers slightly) but that is what the Jackson announcer said as I recall unless I didn't hear it right....which is possible lol.

42-42-2 in SEOAL games. League series ends all-square.doubleplay643 wrote:Glad Jackson got the win, but it was bittersweet given the end of these two teams in the SEOAL.

Logan had a slight edge in the non-league games played before 1925, so the all-time series is 46-44-4.

Well, this is only fitting that SEOAL play ended up even between these two teams. Justice served.

That's who I was looking for 28 and 29,
Also there is some really good looking football players on the freshmen team for Logan 48 and some others.
It Will get better fast in Logan .
We have to get this series back in the schedule .

Some of Logan's top Freshman haven't played with the freshman team at all this season. Three lineman and the QB along with the Kline and the Ruffs have spent all season with the JV team.Poo Bear wrote:loganlocos wrote:Poo Bear -

But there are still plenty of really good kids playing on the freshman team. Future is bright, we just need to get there quick, haha.
