it is an interesting stat on interceptions. at least 4 of the players play qb on offense.

i always wondered if being an offensive qb would help out playing defense in reading an offense and where they could be in the right place at the right time. it would appear so or is it that most qbs are the most athletic usually?

not how many times they have gotten one on defense
thats why the int part is under PASSING stats

defensive stats are just to hard to keep track of in high school football and can become very inaccurate

You're still on to something.

A lot of big time college and NFL safeties were QBs in high school. They are good at reading quarterbacks and coverage.

Joey Conrad only played one game at safety at LHS but he made it one heck of a game. Was a big part of shutting down Westerville South's vaunted passing attack in 2000.
