Re: SEOAL History Part 2: All-Time Standings and Champions
wow ironton did not win one until 71. this is just awesome info locos. and what's even better about it. is the league is debunked now. no need for anybody to talk crap about anybody leaving , rejoining or whatever. frankly I wish ironton had been in it since day 1 and never looked to go anywhere else.

Re: SEOAL History Part 2: All-Time Standings and Champions
No way - I'd rather get anything corrected. I've collected the info from a ton of place and when needed gone back to old newspapers to verify. But that doesn't mean its perfect. I'd rather get it right.osu 77 wrote:I should not of said anything about it anybody that can put this together deserves a pat on the back.

Great stats again locos. I think I found an error. You have Logan as being a member for 91 years and Jackson 92 years. I think Logan should read 92 years, or did Logan lose an entire season to the teachers strike that cancelled the NY/Logan game in the 70s?

Re: SEOAL History Part 2: All-Time Standings and Champions
Logan only played the first two games - both non-league - in 1978, so they missed the entire league season. So Jackson will be the only school to compete in all 92 seasons.NYBuckeye96 wrote:Great stats again locos. I think I found an error. Pomeroy missed a season in 1952 (polio outbreak) and Meigs lost the 1979 season due to a teachers strike (they ended up playing some league opponents as non-league games, but they did not count in the standings).
Re: SEOAL History Part 2: All-Time Standings and Champions
I appreciate the 26th SEOAL title for Jackson. I think, subconsciously, you still feel quilty about 2013.
Outstanding work, as always. Thanks for posting all of this info.
