Logan's a superb, once-in-a-decade kind of team, and Warren knew that multiple miracles would have to fall into place for us to really be in contention.
But, still, no one here can be mad at this team. They've won 4 games, first time since '01. They went 4-0 at home. They won the homecoming game. They're at .500 this late in the season. For two weeks, they've been ranked in the SEOPS Top 15. They aren't making stupid mistakes. They're loving it, and so are we.
We're building, and we're not complaining.
Way to put the effort out there, Warriors.
Go Blue!

Re: WK 8 Warren @ Logan
I saw a much better Warren football team last night, much more like the 1999-2000-2001 teams than the 2002-2007 versions.
Keep building, the Warriors are already back to contending. They had solid line play and did not beat themselves, in the end Logan was just more talented and it shows in the final score, but Warren played hard and is moving in the right direction.
Great game by the Chiefs, especially considering Angle "misfired" a lot early in the game. Great game by Clay Morgan, 142 and 2 touchdowns on senior night.
Congrats to Patrick for throwing his 18th, 19th, and 20th TD passes this season, breaking the 23 year old record set by current boys hoops coach Keith Myers. Zach Adams did a great job tonight catching the football as well.
Defensively, GREAT game by the D-Line and the linebackers. The Chieftains were getting good penetration all night and laid some solid hits. It was nice to play another "smash-mouth" run-oriented football team. We hadn't seen that since the Hamilton Township game.
Time to get ready for Jackson who could be like a cornered animal with nothing to lose and everything to gain. Jackson has always been a tough place for the purple and white to play. I'm excited to see the Ironmen back on the schedule after a 2-year hiatus.
Good Luck to Warren the rest of the way!

A good job from me to the Chieftain Defense, who seldom gets attention. Holding a larger line to 26 total yards in the 1st half is good for anyone. The LDN says you only allowed the opposing team to cross the 50 3 x's. Remember that, 'cause some people never accomplish such a feat. The defense made up for a lot of the "foot-shooting" the offense did.
Good luck to all.
Good luck to all.

Anytime the defense can make up for anything bad-it is a good thing.
The "bad" is the bad thing. The offense made the mistake. I was not complimenting the offense. Yes, an outstanding performance is always good.
