Re: Valley @ Wheelersburg 12/20
I still don't get those posters that have such low expectations for Valley? It has been basketball even for them for 4-5 weeks now? The Indians should dominate this game but with Barrick and at Burg anything could happen. burg might pull it out 18-15.....lol

I agree...this will be a close game for Valley for the face that Barrick will make it a close game. But, IMO this is the week Valley puts it together and doesnt look back, as I told Mr Basketball....Eaglesnest wrote:I still don't get those posters that have such low expectations for Valley? I don't think people have low expectations for Valley, just realistic expectations to start the season. Like Coop said, they played a very tough 4 game stretch in 7 days with only a week's worth of practice and still had guys with nagging injuries. I agree with him that this is were the Indians will start to get everything together. From what I heard by talking to one of the coaches and seeing the score, they looked much better Friday night against Northwest. He said they are still a little rough around the edges but things are starting to gel. Having said that, I'm sure Burg will play them tough tonight and try their best to keep the score low. I think the upcoming break will be huge for Valley and they'll come out smoking in January.Eaglesnest wrote:I still don't get those posters that have such low expectations for Valley? Exactly....Luke keller is a machine on defense, hes the guy whos points dont show on the stat sheet but hes everywhere, Burg will play some keep away, which will also lead to some steals and buckets for Valley.Bo_Diaz wrote:I don't think people have low expectations for Valley, just realistic expectations to start the season.
