Meigs/Eastern Track Teams: What Do You Expect?

this is just a post wondering what you think about easterns and meigs' upcoming track teams.

Eastern returns a decent 1600 girl named Alyssa Newland. I would imagine she can place in just about any meet Eastern would travel to.

yes i do agree.
Newland impressed me last year during the season.
And also Soulsby from meigs.
Cant forget about Milam either from Eastern.

Any thoughts on the Meigs team??

Is Milam going to be able to run this year I know she was sick and hasnt been able to run since her freshman year. She was a good runner too.

I believe she is playing basketball. Hope she stays well enough to run track her sr. yr.

it would be a shame if she couldnt. But i think she will.
she has always been a good runner, of what I have seen of her.
She has good endurance.

are there any Meigs track members you think are good?

The meigs girls have a lot of talented runners especially the seniors,
Soulsby in the 800 and a she does some relays also, wolfe in the 100 and 200
she does relays also. Bolin in the hurdles, swisher in the 1600 and 3200
Lentes in the relays and she will probaly do the 400. Fields in the 4x100 and 4x200.These are a talented group or seniors
