All of the "big schools" except for Athens voted No to admitting Jackson a couple years ago, why would those same schools suddenly change their minds now?
Every school votes for themselves and what they think will benefit them. VC didn't cause Warren to be voted down.. Warren did that to themselves when they left the TVC in the 80s.

I know there is still resentment for that with some of the TVC schools but ill bet the main reason VC voted no on Warren joining was because of the travel. With Belpre off the schedule, the longest league game is against Meigs.

I agree. I don't see VC jumping ship either. I think Athens would really be the only current TVC school that would possibly make the move. If the SEOAL could get another team such as Waverly to join with Athens ; they may be able to survive the loss of Logan and Chillicothe.

If the TVC absorbed Jackson, Gallia and Warren, you may see VC show interest in the SVC.

just to many ways the league could go..
i have heard...sheridan was leaving the mvl for the new lcl league..
if that happens tri valley wont be long in the mvl..john glenn has shown ..inst...ecol..
alot may happen with these teams also..Not saying it will but crooksville and new lex would be a easy fit.
along with morgan.

I wouldn't think the TVC would take all three.

Morgan wouldn't be bad but they wouldn't have much success in the TVC Ohio either.

I don't think VC, being the second largest school in the current TVC, would find themselves in the middle division if expansion does indeed happen.

it wouldnt make sense to move to that conference....u have to be able to win to make the playoffs plus it doesnt benifit the other schools to bring in a small school into ur conference the points arent there for playing a D VI school

This is much more likely to happen than Trimble moving to the Ohio. JMO

So much has to happen, Logan and Chillicothe would have to leave SEOAL, and leave the others looking for somewhere to go. Then what happens is the MVL or MSL look at Athens and NY in their leagues. What could happen then. Lets look ahead at what we know, we have 3 years and River Valley is joining the TVC Ohio. Lets let what happens happen, and go from there.

I agree. But with the funding situation at the state level being as unstable as it is, we could see districts consolidating to survive. I hope that doesn't happen, but unless the financial health of the state improves, we could see it.

Something's going to have to give. When Logan and Chillicothe leave the SEOAL, the other teams will need a place to go. None of the other conferences (TVC, SOC, SVC or OVC mainly) have teams that want to or will join the SEOAL to keep it going. Therefore Gallipolis, Jackson and Warren Local will need to be placed in a new conference (unless they would reamain independent but that'll never happen). People have mentioned Vinton County jumping ship if Jackson was ever allowed in the TVC and maybe Waverly coming into the SEOAL who jumped from the same conference years ago along with N-Y, Meigs, Wellston and Athens. Realistically, none of these conferences wants to admit these schools because of "beatdowns" in most sports to put it bluntly in years past when they were affiliated with the old SEOAL. They in no way, shape or form want these teams but someone will have to take them in eventually. Whether is be splitting divisions or whatever the fact remains these schools will be placed somewhere in some conference and the other schools will have to get over it.

Alot still remains to be seen or settled..
it all depends on other teams i dont think vinton will leave the tvc.
just for adding other teams..as far as BEATDOWNS..Some will get thumped
AND SOME WILL DO THE THUMPING...Most years the bigger schools will win.
but hey were in se ohio anybody can...and will win..GET BETTER OR GET OUT.

Exactly my point. Someone from N-Y finally agrees with me on something. Thank You :-D
(There's not many places for any teams down there to go anymore with budget cut, school funding, etc.. It's time for everyone to quit complaining, running, making excuses etc.. IMO Ironton is the only school in SEO that's never complained about anything and would take on any and all comers in any sport. They've played in conferences and independently without excuses. Ironton has always been "AA" or DIII in years past and now they're DIV (almost DV) and will still play anyone they can schedule. The other schools have to get that mindset and when they do, I'll guarantee you they'll get better IF the parents and kids buy into the system and let the coaches do their jobs).

Why would VC leave the TVC if Jackson were voted in? They already play them in every sport, every year. Warren is the team VC doesn't want in.. Jackson is 20 minutes away while Warren is an hour and 20 minutes.
