Marty back to Cleveland?
Re: Marty back to Cleveland?
Marty did a good job in Cleveland before. Why not give him a second chance?
Re: Marty back to Cleveland?
I like the idea... it would be a win for the Browns because he's a proven winner.... it would be a win for him - he could build on his legacy... and it would be a win for the Steeler fans, who wouldn't have to view him as a traitor....

I'd say he would at least restore order and discipline. He wouldn't have that deer-in-the-headlights look. He'll need a couple of good backs like Mack and Byner. I'd love to see that kind of football back in Cleveland.
Re: Marty back to Cleveland?
The last good coach in Cleveland. Another casualty of the previous owner. The Browns need to hire someone who has a proven NFL record and get away from giving people their first job. Cowher would also be a good hire. Immediate discipline in either case.
Re: Marty back to Cleveland?
Well If marty doesnt want the job, and cower is not going to think about coaching untill his daughter gets out of college. What do you do? Do you get someone and fire him in 2 years ? Whats left ? Sounds like they will have to take a shot on someone they didnt really want.
Re: Marty back to Cleveland?
How about getting Marty, Bill, and the Rutig all on the payroll in Cleveland, Cowher mayhapes in a draft and free agent supervisory position, and let Marty and Sam take care of the on field things.
Things could turn around very quick for our Browns the true America's Team!!!!!
