Just because he is fast in the Minors doesn't mean he will still that many bases in the Big Show! In the Majors he will be facing better more experienced pitching. In another year or 2 he may be ready, but he isn't ready now! Everyone wanted Homer so bad it wasn't funny. The Reds gave in to the fans and brought him up to early. It would have been okay to bring him up for a cup of Coffee and send him back down but they kept him up and hurt his development. He is just now coming into his own, and if they Reds would have left him in the Minors for another year or so he would have pitched as well as he is now from day 1. Leave the Hamilton kid down until he is ready.
Hamilton is hitting .323 in the Minors, that translates to about .240 in the Big Leagues! You can't still 104 bases if you can't get on base....
