Re: Steelers
How bad could his foot have been? Nobody ever said is was sprained or broken, but even at that, he could have still been back sometime this year. This sounds a little funny here...Not saying he's not hurt but what is exactly hurt and it's severity remains a mystery.

Re: Steelers
Pretty sure it his foot was broken and his ankle sprained, and it was only a matter of time man. Hes only been able to play 11 of the last 30+ games, while he is a fantastic player it is definitely his time to go regardless.Black Panther wrote:How bad could his foot have been? Re: Steelers
Steelers did not dominate this game. It was close at halftime when Beanie gets hurt. The Steelers did more in the second half but the Cards are not that good. Ben still takes some shots and gets up slow after some hits. The Steelers run game is not much. Good teams as long as they do not give up the long pass will beat the Steelers.

Re: Steelers
I will let a 15 point win on the road, and a 5-2 record do my talking. Big Ben dominated, So did Woodley. We won with ease.
Re: Steelers
Well the final score was 32 to 20. In the real world that is just 12 points not 15. The Cards are 1-5. In the 3rd it was just 17 to 14. Kolb missed bad on many passes or the game may have been closer. He looked more like a rookie QB. Which in the amount of game time he has played he is a rookie. If the Cards would have onside kicked at the end of the game and got it back it could have been closer. This game had a lot of penalties on both sides.cool cucumber wrote:I will let a 15 point win on the road, and a 5-2 record do my talking. Big Ben dominated, So did Woodley. We won with ease.

Re: Steelers
Ok smart a$s, when I wrote this I was thinking 35-20.. The receivers for Pitt missed a few that would have been touchdowns too. That's just part of the game. it was 32 to 14 with five minutes to go and we took our foot of the gas pedal and ran the ball just about every play. But I guess Garbage points with no chance of a comeback matter to you kid. Steelers Dominated from the very first Cardinal series after getting the Pick. We had 450 yards of offense the had 330, take away that lucky ass Stevens-Howling play where Pollumalu slipped in the 2nd qtr to make it 17-14 they have 260 yards of offense, and the game never gets close. Total possession time was won by like 12 Minutes for us.. IDk what else you want. When we Beat the Patriots this week I'm sure you will tell me how overrated they are too huh? Get real.
Re: Steelers
Wow you were thinking wrong about the score and start to make up excuses like it is my fault. The final score of the game did not change. Take away the Pitt 90 yard pass and the game is totally different also. Garbage points it is during the game. The Cards are 1-5 for a reason they are not very good. It is fine when Troy slips but how many blow coverages did the Cards have trying to play a new defense this year? As for the kid reference you are way off on that. You sure didn't hear the announcers during the game talk about the domination. To many penalties on both sides. As well as Ben getting beat up again. The Steelers are not dominating even for a cucumber who's growing season is over.

Re: Steelers
Not a domination but I knew the Steelers would pull it out somehow. They always win these type of games. How many games like this have the Bengals and Browns lost in the last few years and it's ruied their season? Too many to count. It dosen't have to be a domination in the NFL all you have to do is WIN the game!
Re: Steelers
You right Black Panther just look at the Broncos win at Miami. The Steelers were not dominating in the game but did win the game. They have not played the best competition the last 2 games. They need to play better for 4 quarters against the Pats and Ravens to win.

Re: Steelers
Ravens go to 4-2 after a loss to the Jaguars. Steelers front runners by half a game, I think that's right.

Re: Steelers
BIG game against the Patriots. We win we're 6-2 and people finally start to believe, we lose we are 5-3 people talk more poop. We win convincingly and people over hype us and we lose the next game. So hopefully we win 28-24 so they can say we ground out a win against an excellent team. GO STEELERS!

If Gay has another game like he did last year against the Patriots, the Steelers will be in for a long day.
