Whoaa, that's pretty good, never realized how funny you wheelersburg boys really are. I have seen so much Ironton hate on here so I would just like to ask ya...."does it hurt that much?" No matter what you accomplish, you are still NOT us! You can walk around with our colors on and pretend but truth is ya gotta wake up every day and see that W not I my friend. This nonsense started in 89 with you guys thinking you could compete so it was a lot of talk back then from the Pirate faithfull about how they would have like to have matched the 89 teams up....LOL...are you kidding? Also by and large even with games ending closely Ironton DOMINATES this series. Just the cold hard fact! Also last I checked we dominated the series with Logan as well...LOL! matter of fact even with us losing last year Logan had their hands full with us! It is easy to talk when you are in that lil mini conference huh Pirate fans? Matter of fact what is your record against Portsmouth even? You douche bags should not even be glorified with the tag of an Ohio school, last I checked ya looked like a glorified Kentucky team. LMAO! Speaking of that I believe Ashland is more competitive against us then you guys... Last 10 seasons, just a few teams, outside of the SOC II
Cabell Midland KY, Bishop Ready, Miami Trace, Hillsboro, Gallia Academy, St Clairsville, Johnson Central KY, Cleveland VASJ.
Sound like scheduling down? I didn't name all the schools that are in higher divisions.

This is in no way a p!ssing contest, cause there is no doubt Ironton is a VERY good football team that to me is, and always has been on a higher level. But don't come in here flaunting your past opponents and record against Burg and insult a school that has Ironton in a dogfight just about every year. Burg, to me is not the Burg it once was, but they do play up against some tough competition every year.

I am not proud of this years schedule with RH and Fairland, but Even the mighty Buckeyes have a cream puff schedule every now and then.

BTW. West, Minford, Oak Hill, Portsmouth, and Ironton all are very much UP this season! So for Burg to have them on a schedule makes it a tough schedule! 2 of those teams are conf. games!

And CARL, before you get all high and mighty, and think that I am a hater. Get this one thing straight. I am a Burg fan, but I am one of the 1st to bad mouth them and talk about things that most fans won't do or say about there team.

So I do hope Burg wins on the 27th, but I doubt they will, Ironton is too good. But I know it will be another good game. Even if it winds up as a blowout score.

I have no hatred towards the tigers and look forward to playing them every year. If Burg wins GREAT! If not, hey maybe next year. Gotta catch Ironton early. Thats always the saying!

But there is a reason people and other teams hate Burg. They win!

So show some Respect for a great competitor and be GLAD that Ironton is smart enough to put Burg on its schedule every season. Both teams need each other. Points.

You are a perfect example of why so many people hate the tigers. It isn't because of their history as much as it is fans like you. Wheelersburg is a good program so is Ironton and I'm sure this years game will be another great one.

Oh and by the way orange and black is ugly no matter who is wearing it. 8)

I have played with numbers of Burg guys throughout the years and all of them were class acts, many of them are still good friends today. The one's that annoy the hell out of me are the folks that did'nt play sports or move to Burg
then have a attitude. What I'm sayin is people don't hate the Burg for winning, it's the fans after the game that graduated from East!!!

Every school on the Burgs schedule is bigger than them with the exeption of Oak Hill and yet they are playing "down" when Ironton has a school on their schedule with 132 boys. Now that's a powerhouse. Why don't you guys go play another Canadien powderpuff school?

Ironton has dominated the Burg over the years and by all rights they should. They are a bigger school and should beat the Pirates every year, but the Burg has pulled of some wins and stayed right in quite a few games.

As for Logan. Yeah, you guys own the series edge, but since going back to the SEOL the Cheiftans have owned Irontons rearend every year until you had to up and run from the conference to avoid playing them anymore. At least the Burg has the balls to play Ironton every year whether they get their a$$es handed to them or not and they don't run away with their tails between their legs like a whimpering puppy.

Nobody ran from Logan, it was strictly a financial/business decision from what I understand. Wheelersburg is a good program but yall get ahead of yourselves when you start comparing yourself to Ironton. Just once I would like to see people on here STOP Hating and respect the facts. Location: Minford......Home of the 2009 SOC II CHAMPIONS......THE "MIGHTY" MINFORD FALCONS!!!! I think Ironton can make a serious run this year. I see them possibly making it to the semi's.

I see them going 9-1 this year, possibly running the table. I think Portsmouth will play them close, I think they may get upset along the way for their one loss if they are not cautious.

I do however seeing them beating Burg by multiple scores and roughing Burg up a little bit and causing Burg to be beaten by Oak Hill week 2.

But I will stand my ground that I-town is back and there will be alot to talk about in downtown Lawerence County this football season.
