While I agree, one team having a minimum of 4 games to play in the league not only hurts their players in the voting, but hurts who they may vote for as well. The girls league voting when multiple teams had 30% of their league games left was ridiculous. The POY was super obvious there, but there’s no reason not to wait.
Plus, doing it online was a disaster in baseball 2 years ago where a coach didn’t vote for the league’s leading hitter onto a team and that put the player on 2nd team instead of 1st. That same school (different coaches) voted a player 4th after only seeing that team once and cost the player a co-player of the year. So, it’s best to do it in person and to wait, IMO.
