They really are pretty quick over there. I thought I was disguising my posts pretty good. I was hiding them well but still only got 2 in before this....

I quit posting on JJ's the first time they started charging. That's when they only had one football forum. No North and South. At that time it was starting to get really bad with fans of a few schools being able to do or say what ever they wanted, and others getting gonged for saying anything about it. I never got gonged. But I did get a pm from someone acting as JJ telling me to watch myself cause the person I was arguing with is from such and such school and my bad mouthing them or their school will not be tolerated. So I just quit getting on there. Just around that same time someone pm'd me about this site. I came over and never left. I also told some of my friends about this site, and they joined too. Now other than a few touchy people complaining to the mods now and then, everything on here useually stays fun, and entertaining. So enjoy the site if you are new.

Well, they have the $$$ to do it from the poor saps who will pay to read the verbal diarrhea that is the Puddle!

I think a more effective strategy is to start emailing people on that site - send private messages. No one will even know you are doing this, so you can get the word out to more people!!!

Just another funny thing I remember. I called JJ, or whoever it was pm'ing under that guise, a name that rhymes with wussy for not having the stones to stand up to the fans from the certain school who I was arguing with. He didn't gong me for that. But he threatened to gong me for arguing with those clowns. What a joke he is. A little light in the loafers too if you ask me.

I still have to ask the owner of this site (Gary M. Ashworth??) how he can afford the web hosting and is he willing to keep it free if he needs to upgrade his web hosting plan.

Reading back through this thread I see posters who try to skirt the rules. They seem rather vindictive to me. Are you sure that you want to take on the riff raff from another site-people who expect (demand) something for nothing?

I run a website and I know these types. Be careful what you ask for.

If you didn't feel that jjhuddle was worth paying $12 a year to use, why didn't you just simply quit and find another site?

Maybe jjhuddle's intent was to weed them out?
