Just heard that Fort Frye won in a close game at home to advance to the conference finals

Yes Cadets won in OT 43-42. Cadets were up by four, but Wheeling Cent. Cath leading scorer hit a three with .2 sec. to go. She had 22 of her teams 42.

Cadets were at a distinct height disadvantage as WCC always had 3-or 4 players in the lineup that were taller than any Cadet.

Very good defensive effort by the girls, but they'll have some bruises to tend the next few days.

Heal up Girls and on to OU Eastern for the OVAC final.

Have no idea who the leading scorer was for the Cadets but it dosen't really matter.

Special props to Brooke Borich, Her overall best game of the year. (and she's only a freshman).

Game was tied at 32 with two minutes to play. Caldwell forced a few post entry passes and turned the ball over, Fort Frye hit a few shots and free throws to win it. Good game, Frye struggled with Caldwell senior post Lizzy Nau.

I've seen a whole lot of close scores and "our girls didn't play their best" kind of updates on here the last month+, so if they get a chance to loosen up and play an "ugly" game, that will be fantastic.
