Nelsonville-York?

Jackson?

Portsmouth?

Logan didn't have great facilities until 2008. You could argue the results have gone DOWN since the facilities improved. Only 3 SEOAL titles and 2 playoff appearances (in 6 years) since Logan Chieftain Stadium and the new high school opened.

The 8 years prior to that saw 6 league titles and 4 playoff appearances.

How many DI athletes have Logan's facilities and coaches had to work with?

I count two athletes who lettered at a DI college in the last 15 years. Find another school in the SEOAL or TVC-Ohio who has had less to work with. I bet if anyone fits the bill they've won a heck of a lot less than Logan.

This person is a joke...........You can tell from what he brings up that his knowledge on southeastern football is very little..........he says the samething.... so his vocabulary isn't too much either...must be a WV in move...lol

Logan has, since 1925, the BEST program in the SEOAL by virtue of winning more titles than ANYONE. Yet that was accomplished , by most standards, by less than the best facilities as the Hilltop was a long standing facility only to be recently replaced. Logan was also one of the smaller schools in the beginning of the league and remained there for decades and decades. Only a school consolidation in the 60's made Logan much bigger while not gaining much in additional players on the field. The shrinkage of most other schools recently allowed Logan to become the largest even while losing enrollment to drop down in division. As a player and coach at Logan, its my humble opinion Logan has had many of the best athletes in the SEOAL and many of the coaches, both Head coach and assistants have been high quality. The best program wasn't the biggest nor had the best facilities. Athletes and coaches came and went and wasn't always the best every year, but had many years where they were hard to beat.

If the charge is Logan is the best program in the SEOAL -- then its guilty as charged. But not because it was the biggest ( only recently) or had the best facilities ( only recently), so not guilty there. As to best players and coaches -- guilty many years, but not always.

And, yes, Chieftain envy is alive and well.

Logan has had the biggest enrollment for as long as I remember,can't think of another SEOAL team that was bigger after the 60's or 70's,but to say they always have had the best facilities is a joke.Even now I think Jackson has the premier football facility for my taste.

its just funny to me that Logan ppl thrive off your SEOAL CHAMPIONSHIPS RAWWWRRR when you never have accomplished anything outside of the league... Your goal has always been to win league, why not anything every past that? Why not try to add bigger goals?

so just a question here.... what seo team do you follow? or are one of THOSE guys that say i dont follow any high school teams. im a college or pro guy.... wink wink.. i bet your the guy who says "i follow ironton" or nelsonville(or any team for that matter). even though you never went to the school, never been to a game, dont have any kids in the system..... you bud are just a person that just doesnt like logan.
