I believe it is to be called the Kahn Dome!

Think about it! ;-)

So does that mean the green hot dogs that some posters have talked about getting at Ironton would be around for years to come?

I say put a big, bold orange "I" outlined in black in the middle of the field, and have the endzones all orange with black outline in white "FIGHTING" in one endzone and black outlined in white "TIGERS" in the other :-D :-D

I can remember a time when this poster was dieing for everyone to rally around the Ironton program and coaches. Seems to be a little hypocritical to me.

You should rally around the KIDS period.

Would be nice if we had turf. That way the jr high kids would be able to play their games regardless of the weather.

Would be nice to have a Tiger at the 50 and then Ironton in one endzone and Fighting Tigers in the other.

Sure would be nice.

Also what is up with all these II names?

This is what i came up with...

With the tiger head turned correctly ....and none of the white around the edges....and the bottom endzone writing the right way

Nice job there TigersGameDayFan. Just what I had in mind. But I am sure others have better ideas. I think the team should get to pick it.

The Tiger needs to look meaner. If you get turf though you got to upgrade the stadium. Its an old stadium it would look stupid with turf. Thats like putting 22 gold plated rims on a 1978 caddy thats rusted out. Its nice to have them, but it looks stupid because the area around it isnt up to par.

If you can put 22 gold plated rims on it, it must be a 1978 caddypillar.

If Ironton gets field turf, does the field and stadium lose it's historical marker, and can Ironton change the field without permission from the historical society

The stadium is the historical site not the field. Here is Zap's idea of what it might look like.

Where is the money coming from for the turf?

I know the conley center needs a floor bad.

Someone fill me in on this how is the field not apart of the stadium? Dont you need a field to have a stadium or at least an open area to use for sports or concerts which would constitute you building bleachers. You dont just build bleachers for no reason.

They already have a floor, bad. What's that have to do with the football field??

Uncle Jay probably has enough loot to fund them both.
