Let’s look at stats from 2008, 4th in league in defense 24.2 ppg, 09 2nd 18.7, 10 4th 23.3, 11 5th 24.4, 12 1st 19.0, 13 6th 31.9, 14 7th 30.0, 15 4th 20.8, 16 3rd 23.7, 17 4th 20.7, 18 8th 43.0, 19 6th 36.3 ppg.

That’s an average finish of 4.5 in the league. Years 18 and 19 were by far their worst, considering year 18 seven to be seniors quit before the season started, is to be expected

My “they always have” response was just to keep from going into great detail as to why I think that. But they have struggled mightily the last few years to keep teams from scoring.
