Congrats to the all league selections and the players of the year

Surprised Bear didn’t win lineman of the year or defensive player of the year, or at least share it. However, it is nice to see the coaches are not just putting all the league champ players as players of the year. The coaches know more than the fans do.

Wonder why the SOC doesn’t give out more individual awards like some other leagues….Add Def back, LB, WR, Back, Some special teams, etc

Don't forget there were two SOC1 league champs. And Eastern beat Northwest. It's nice to see some of the Eastern folk get some recognition.

Strange the way the SOC does this giving an Offensive Player of Year and a Defensive Player of the Year without a plain Player of the Year.

Sissel getting Offensive Player of the Year was very deserving, but honestly he is better on defense than he is offense.

I don’t believe the SOC allows players to be nominated for more than one group. So since he was nominated for offense he cannot get a defensive award.

Really not fair to the player if they are the best, which I believe he was. He had about 160 tackles on one of the best run defenses around. Ironton had trouble running the football
