I love it ,but we'll never see it,the worn out spear is here to stay.I was hoping Billy would change things up with the helmets when he took over and have his own identity. You guys were talking about emojis, I miss that scratchy chin one. 2016 Chieftains? I predict around 500 or maybe a little better,lost too much experience and skill to get real excited and the reserves struggled,9th grade was 3-3. As mentioned Jerome will be a rough game and DeSales has the bus back and some other players,Jackson will be tough with all their cupboard,Meigs might surprise Logan again with their QB coming back,if raider is right Athens might be a handful if Logan defense don't improve.All the others should be winnable.

Bolt, I agree with you at best Logan will be 6-4 AT BEST!

Have no idea about the cost LHS 72, but I know it's just a sticker same as the spear is. If you noticed in scrimmages and practices at the beginning of the year the helmet is plain new shinny purple with white face masks. The spear is put on before the first real game. Don't know how many new helmets are issued each year but I imagine about every year and some are inspected and refurbished. This design was just a thought and just wanted to see how many liked it. I think it looks pretty cool and would be a different look and a nice change. Bolt, I agree, very slim chance of the old spear look getting changed.

If they can get enough money for a new fieldhouse surely they could get enough for a sticker,I even think a plain purple helmet with a fat white stripe down the middle would look good for a change.

Those stickers are $94 EACH for the head dress. The spears arent anywhere close to that. Now factor in at least 65 helmets for 9-12.....

Also, Watkins Memorial has that style of sticker on their helmet with less detail actually but with Logan's tradition and the cost I dont see a change happening any time soon. The spear is part of Logan's history.

Some people like change some don't,there have been plenty of changes of helmet designs through the years at Logan,I liked the spear at first, but like anything else it gets worn out and old.

Seams to be a lot of money for a small field house, How big is this field house would be nice if they can practice football inside at least 1/2 of a football field! Over the years we have had various designs of helmets from white sides with wide padded purple top, all white, white with purple numbers on the back, plain white, white with a chieftain head on the sides and one year they had script CHIEFS on each side! the spear was intro by Coach Perry!

I like the spear. We had to play with white helmets that had dual purple thin stripes down the middle separated by a single RED stripe !!

Be cool too, I also like the flat purple finish. That makes the emblem (sticker) stand out even more.
