i could live with the cartoon looking head dress. I HATE that color for the helmets....... it looks..... like lavender...

Oh yeah, keep the deep dark purple we have, I would never want to change that. Could go with that flat deep purple finish and keep the spear. Be a change, but just a thought. That shouldn't cost anymore just to go with the flat purple finish, but have no idea.

I like the flat purple but leave the spear off and be different from all the many other Indian teams that have spears.Maybe have "Chiefs" on each side and if that's too pricey just put the numbers on each side like Alabama purple and white style.I would prefer just a plain white stripe if spending money is the problem.

O&B -- I think I have a senior pic of the helmet in my "stuff" ( trophies, pics, etc) but would have to "dig" it out, lol.

The Bama purple and white style is a good idea. What about a purple and white Penn State style with a white helmet with a purple stripe?
