I mean, Warren has been a more competitive football rival since we started playing 1986.

Everyone loves to beat Athens since it's the richest city school in SEO. Logan is a very poor rural school district so makes since for Logan I guess

I've been waiting for this. Look up the per capita income in Athens. 54% are below the poverty line. One of the poorest cities in Ohio and the SEO area. Logan is nowhere near that poor, lol. "Rich" comes only from economics involved with OU. Otherwise, Athens is horrible.

First, it's spelled Bexley.

Secondly - can you back that claim up, at all? Like do Athens residents pay more in property taxes? More in income taxes?

Do they pay more in terms of rate? Or in actual dollars?

Athens receives $7,650,000 from the state of Ohio in FY2017, 2018, and 2019. Athens spends $9,667 per pupil.

Bexley receives $3,909,000, $4,129,000, and $4356,000. Bexley spends $12,464 per pupil.

So Bexley gets LESS money from the state. Spends MORE per pupil. But Athens pays more in taxes?

Help me understand.

Josh Jackson kicked for Ohio State his Sophomore-Senior years. 1994-96. Rose Bowl Champion.

Brooks Burris was the starting LG (beside Orlando Pace) as a sophomore in 1996 and was the right tackle in 1997 and 1998. Teams won a Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl.
