I've seen some pretty questionable calls, and I'm usually the one to see it from the refs point of view and think about why they made some calls. Hard to see why for some tonight

I'm not a huge fan of how the Pirates use their QB. He gets a majority of the carries, and is likely to get hurt. Michigan does the same thing and I can't stand it. I know Valley runs Yates a good bit but not near as much as Burg

Burg gave them all they could handle and more. Definitely wasn't a blowout like a lot predicted. The big turning point to me was when the Pirates failed to score on 1st and goal from the 5 early in the 3rd quarter and then Yates goes 81 tards for a score. Burg had to play catch up from there on and just couldn't get a break to go their way. If the Pirates score there it may have been a different game.

Congrats to the Indians on the hard fought victory and good luck in the playoffs. They will be a handful in Region 19 and I will be rooting for them in every game.

Pirates now need to beat West to have any chance at all for a week 11 game.
