GREAT team defense by Waverly.....hands everywhere....very athletic.

They were bigger, longer, stronger, faster and better.

I believe hes 17 points away. But he is going to have Kevin Malone all over him all game.It would suck to be so close and have to put up with that for what might be your last game.It might be a big heart brake for this kid of jackson.

I say Waverly in this one and im sorry i dont think theres gonna be a great milestone in this game unless harrison plays and can score 50 somethin for his 1000.

^^^^^^^sarcasm or not....that is typed to say Harrison is more likely in your mind to score 50 than Newsome is 17

Sorry I didn't read your sarcasm the way you intended it.

Oh....and is a "heart brake" the device used to stop your heart?

I'm sure Waverly will get Martin off his ankle until Friday. Hopefully it continues to heal and improve. He was hurting allot tonight but the young man sucked it up and gave the Tigers a big spark coming in to start the 2nd period.

I know this is a Waverly/Jackson thread but here goes starting the discussion of the Waverly/Chillicothe match-up.

Chillicothe is a much different team than the Tigers have faced this year but I don't think they are better than some of the teams Waverly has faced (Logan Elm, Oak Hill, Piketon). Match-ups will be a key. I don't think it's any secret Turner is the key to Chillicothe's success. Waverly must shut him down to win this game. When Malone is in he will probably get the honor of guarding him. When Malone is out I'd almost go with Roback on him. I don't think any of Waverly's guards can handle him. If Roback is on him that leaves Kretzer on London and Martin on Ragland or vice versa. THOUGHTS?

Da Tigers need to work their behinds off this week in preparation for the Cavs.

Let's get a topic started on Waverly vs Chillicothe! Last year I bet my arm that Chillicothe wouldn't lose to Waverly and know I have one arm,so this year I won't bet any of my body parts! LOL! Go Cavs!
