For all of you LeBron haters............
Re: For all of you LeBron haters............
gahs I started this thread based on your final paragraph. I felt that compared to the kinds of crimes you just listed that athletes have committed, what LeBron has done doesn't even scratch the surface. Do I think he should have done the show? no. But farmer when you have high school athletes, amatuers, who are getting to announce to the world their "decision" at All-Star games, why can't one of the best athletes in the world do the same? Terrelle Pryor did the same when he decided to come to Ohio State. Did anybody torch him for playing out the same kind of drama as LeBron? No. That is why I feel like all of this is a double standard and a one lane street. LeBron's 1 hour special just gave haters and Cleveland fans an EXCUSE to be mad. Many Cleveland fans say that it wasn't the decision he made, but the way he did. Don't kid yourselves. Why then do Cleveland fans in their commercial that they made address the fact that he went to Miami on numerous occasions and only reference the telivision special once? The bottom line is the Cleveland owner and fans are mad because they will not get the Championship that they so desire. This is my stance. Question it if you want. Tear it down if you want. But this is my opinion and nothing is going to change it.
Re: For all of you LeBron haters............
Gymrat I explained that already. LeBron is not an amateur. He chose to go to the NBA so that is not like Pryor or the others. LeBron is a professional that is being paid. So you keep trying to twist things around to excuse LeBron's actions.
Your opinion is your opinion even though it is wrong. The Cleveland owner bent over backwards for LeBron in all the special treatments he received while on the team. Which LeBron would not even discuss a new contract or anything with him after the Boston series.
Also Gymrat you still ignore what LeBron said about his Miami head coach.

Re: For all of you LeBron haters............
I didn't say anything about it because there is nothing to say. 44 minutes is too many compared to what he has been played in the past he is right. There is another double standard- why is it not ok for LeBron to be unpolitically correct when Dan Gilbert is allowed to be? You keep trying to twist things to criticize LeBron.

Re: For all of you LeBron haters............
Starters:
--Point guard Carlos Arroyo
--Shooting guard Dwyane Wade
--Small forward LeBron James
--Power forward Chris Bosh
--Center Zydrunas Ilgauskas
Bench:
--Forward Udonis Haslem
--Forward James Jones
--Center Joel Anthony
--Guard Eddie House
--Guard Mario Chalmers
Who do you put in when the game is close to give the overpaid players a rest? If LeBron had a problem he should have spoken to the head coach about it not the media. You do not go to the media if you are a professional, especially this early in the season. Gymrat you want to say LeBron has not played those mins in the past. If you do not want the same results as in the past then he should be doing things different.
As for Gilbert's comments he paid for a full page ad. He said how he felt to the point where people didn't have to wonder how he felt. I do not care if it was politically correct because he told the truth. He did not led people on or go back and forth on his statements. Gilbert talked about the team. He didn't hide behind a tv production. Gilbert did a lot to give LeBron special treatment and didn't even get a thank you or by waiting as long as LeBron did it allowed other teams to sign the big name free agents.
Gymrat you can keep LeBron up on the pedestal all you want. Just keep making your excuses for his actions.

Re: For all of you LeBron haters............
Well if he is a free agent gahs, then yes he can do about anything he wants and get a pass, which is what he did, and there is nothing illegal about it. Ridicule him all you want. Uphold Dan Gilbert all you want. I'm not buying it.
farmer I will tell you who you put in- you put in James Jones who is currently averaging 10ppg in 26 minutes and is shooting 50% from 3-point range this year. And he doesn't need to play different minutes to have different results. He actually has players now on his team who are consistent, unlike Mo, Jamison, Delonte, Larry Hughes, Drew Gooden and an old Shaq, this in itself will allow for different results. And keep in mind Mike Miller is hurt, so when he comes back that will give the Heat another threat from behind the arc which will in turn allow the Heat to spread the floor more and give more opportunites for James and Wade to penetrate.
Also, why is it such a good thing in your eyes that Gilbert gave LeBron special treatment? Couldn't you say then that by Gilbert giving LeBron special privileges that this in turn allowed LeBron to feel that he could do whatever while with the Cavs and get away with it? If so, then you could say that Gilbert helped to create some of LeBron's tendencies.

Re: For all of you LeBron haters............
Gymrat you said LeBron did nothing illegal and Gilbert did nothing illegal. It is always someone besides LeBron. He can do whatever and everyone else is wrong. Keep living in LeBron's world thinking things will get better in Miami. It will not matter who the coach is there with the collection of talent will not win a championship against a well rounded team.
