well i dont agree with the NL east that divsion is all about the phillies and the mets and as a phillies fan i enjoyed laughing in the faces of mets fan last season.
TOP 5
Red Sox
Indians
Phillies
Cubs
Angels (their pitching has finally stepped up)

and im giving the WS to the indains because this year wont be like last year i think they can avoid that from happening again

Obviously you are not paying attention to what the Braves are doing...

The Phillies are nowhere near a top 3 team in MLB...PITCHING?...WHERE IS IT?...Cole Hamels cant start everyday...Brad Lidge as the closer? Good luck with that!

The Braves have better pitching, better fielding, and better hitting...Period...There is no argument...

Not including the Tigers in your top five?...Thats blasphemous...They finished fifth in the AL last season and added Miguel Cabrera and Dontrelle Willis...IMO, that shoves them past the Angels..

I can give you some credit with the Indians, but they will have to beat Detroit a lot or else it will be no go...

How can you not put the Rockies in your top five and have the Cubs in it?...The Rockies won the NL last year and return their entire team...The Cubs will be very good, yes, but dont give them too much credit...

yes the phillies dont have much pitching but they make up for it with great hitting. i dont know about this year last year they started off hot and finished hot but this year might not be so great. Rollins and Utley did a nice job in the opener but they need the rest of the team to back them up.

I like the tigers but it seems that they just cant break deep into the playoffs they have done this in the past been great all season look like a clear Winner but then lose to a team that they souldnt have lost to.

The cubs well its about time they put it all together this year. and i like the rockies because one they did great last year barley getting into the playoffs but when they play top teams that were exposed for who they were and that was a team riding on a hot streak but im not saying they were bad im just saying i dont think they will be as good as they were last year

so here let me redo my top 5 after some re thinking

Red Sox
Indians
Tigers
Cubs
Angels(still like them)

i like the cubs with Big Z and Alfonso and supporting cast

but my WS favorite is still the INdians

yea but they didnt win and they didnt have a great follow up season and lets see what the rockies do this year after last years run. I like the tigers but its these teams that look good but then dont win when it counts huge. Thats what is keeping me from picking them to win it all.

Go Phillies
Go Reds
Go NL

I hope so. As much as I like the Reds I am a Red Sox fan first.

They are going to have to fix their gaping holes in their roster if they hope to do this
