My Sr year at Liberty Union, Millersport had a girl that played on the O-line. She was a big ole farm girl. We were very good that year and pretty big up front, so they didn't play here against our starters. We were up like 48-0 in the first half and they took us starters out. I'll never forget what happend though. We had this mouthy little punk of a sophomore that thought he was the bomb. Well, when he got to play in the second half, he got pancaked by the girl. Boy he took a beating.lol

I remember playing against a girl in junior high... she played DT across from me.
Pass blocking was awkward.

I actually had a parent try and have my son suspended and kicked off the 6th grade boys flag football team because he blocked this tool's daughter too hard. It's funny now but at the time I was flippin furious.

Ill second that, I mean you will always have some pretty tuff girls but when it comes down to it they just wouldnt be able to take the beatings everyday that a football player does. Now you could always put a girl at Kicker or WR but other than that its just not gonna happen

Kettering Alter had a female playing on the line last season and I believe she was a starter.
Her brother is a former Buckeye who is now playing in the NFL. I would put her up against a lot of the lineman I watched play last season.

I do not agree with that. If a girl think they are good enough to be with the guys then let them. At Nelsonville York in 8th grade we have a girl that has played since like 4th grade. She has not decided to play football or volleyball. She is small but really fast. Possibly a reciever or DB.
Re: Will any of the area schools have girls playing football
Some people come on here with one or two examples of girls being able to play. You have to look at those examples and ask: Is this case the exception or the rule?
Sure every once in a while, there may be girls that can play, but as a whole they can't.

Oak Hill had a girl for the 05 and 06 season.... she was really just a roster slot and a tackling dummy lol.
