Wednesdays games
Ashland vs Rock Hill Redmen
Rock Hill coming in undefeated on the season and was hollering MAY day after the youngster from Ashland May pours in a game high 15pts to lead Ashland to a victory , Rock Hill had strong performances from Downtown Hankins with 7
Ironton vs Russell in the 2nd game was the best game of the night with both teams playing a great game and the Fighting tigers fought their way to a 42-40 victory over the red devils. Ironton was led by "ZIG" Zac Roach with the handles on top of handles vs Russells press. Russell coach was Hollering "MILLER TIME" as the young Miller led ALL scorers with 24 PTS (highest points of the tourny) but dished the ball to the corner for the game winning 3 but was blocked out of bounds as the game ended
Hornets 4th grade ended the night vs a scrappy South Point team. Final score was 49-23 but the Pointers team NEVER gave up pressing until the buzzer ended , great job of Hustle and effort by the pointers. The Offense was on AUTO PILOT for the hornets with nearly 4 starters in dbl figures. Evan "always in range" Gannon led the way with 13pts , Cory "has no" Borders added 11pts Cameron "jumps like a" Deere added 4 floaters and foul shot for 9pts and Ben " I dont need a " Compliment crashed the boards and dominated the post with 8pts .
