Gallipolis 9th graders trip Jackson, 14-6
Re: Gallipolis 9th graders trip Jackson, 14-6
Saw the 4th quarter of this one. Jackson had several opportunities to break a 6-6 tie in the 4th quarter, but the GAHS defense stood tall every time, including a forced fumble inside their own 10 yard line with less than 4 minutes to play. The Blue Devils then drove over 90 yards to score the winning TD with less than a minute to play. Have to give GAHS credit for the win, especially for their defensive performance in the 4th quarter. If Jackson can eliminate the mistakes, their freshman group should have a pretty good year. Good luck to GAHS the rest of the year.

Congrats to GAHS and Coach Penrod.
Good Luck to both teams the rest of the way, hopefully everyone stays healthy.

The 9th grade group for Jackson will have some good contributers to the varisty team the next 3 years.

Thanks, gahs4ever.
Ironman92,
I agree. I'm a big Morgan Landrum fan. With Jackson losing both QBs on this year's roster after the season, I wonder if there is any chance that he plays QB next year at the varsity level. I know there are some varsity players right now that were previously QBs (Ervin and McNelly), but they seem to fit in VERY well where they are at right now. Definitely thinking WAY into the future, but just a thought.
