Bengals just blew it.
How can you jump off sides in the situation? Everyone knew thats all they were trying to do.

How do you have an offense only two yards from the goal line but your corners are playing four yards off the ball, poor defense leads to another loss, at least the offense looked good today.

Well, I watched my Cowardly Lions blow it against the Bears and I flipped it over just in time to watch the other cats blow it.

losing breeds losing. That is 7 games lost by 7 pts or less. No breaks in site.

Re: Bengals just blew it.
That whole last series for the Sainst looked really fishy to me. The pass that Meachem caught to get the Saints deep into Bengals territory shoukd have been broken up by No. 41 of the Bengals. He watched Meachem come off the line, make his break and never even made a move towards him. I was there and it was plain to see that he didn't even try to defend that pass.
Then on the 4th and 2, everyone in the stadium knew that the Saints weren't going for it and were going to play for OT and then the DL jumps offside. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!
I still believe that the Bengals are playing for the 1st pick in the draft and should take Cam Newton if he comes out. Palmer looked a little better today, but Ocho made a couple of catches today that saved Palmers butt.

Re: Bengals just blew it.
Is seems like it has been proven that Newton is the best QB money can by. The biggest question is do the Bengals have the money to pay him.
Re: Bengals just blew it.
There is a big difference in big stats in college and being a good NFL QB. The Bengals have been there twice with Klingler and Smith. Newton maybe a good NFL QB but he can also be a headcase like Vince Young. With all the accusations about Newton that would be just adding another problem child to the mix. Also he will not be running as much as he does now. So will the effect the way he plays?
The Bengals also have Dan Lefavour as a rookie QB. Who showed a lot of skills in college as a passing QB. Maybe the Bengals should play him so in the last few games but not against the Steelers blitzing defense.
