KY Warriors (semi-pro) Win Season Opener, 37-27

PORTSMOUTH, Ohio -- Wide receiver Jermain Payton caught two TD passes and returned a kickof for another as the KY Warriors defeated the Cincinnati Falcons, 37-27, Saturday at Spartan Stadium.

Tight end John Throckmorton also caught two TD passes as the Warriors start the season 1-0. All four TD passes were thrown by quarterback Justin Lunsford.

Running back Chris Sopher scored the other TD for the Warriors, who will play host to the Pickerington Wildcats next Saturday at Spartan Stadium.
