Re: Power 105 WXTQ
I see a whole lot of Trimble and NY but no A-Train. I guess if Thee Sultan and Mr. Football Joe Burrow aren't in town, Then Athens football isn't important.
Re: Power 105 WXTQ
Im sure his little sidekick Cool Whip can answer that. I am sure he will be lost now that Thee Sultan is not in the studio to carry the load.05buckeye wrote:What's up with thee sultan?

Re: Power 105 WXTQ
One thing we will take advantage of this year is the ability to play either game (970 or 105) through the FM. If the Athens County game of the week on Power 105 is a running clock and is over with before the game on 970, we will switch over for 'bonus coverage' until it ends. This way the post game show will never start until both games are concluded.
Re: Power 105 WXTQ
Looking forward to doing the play by play for WXTQ this season with Ryan Boyd. Happy to be back in the Athens County football circle. Each week will have a great matchup and the season looks wide open.

Re: Power 105 WXTQ
We are definitely pleased to have Mark Hunter, Kevin Dunigan and Tom Fearns doing the post game show, power 105 game of the week and Athens Bulldogs football on 970WATH respectively. The three I'm sure combine for over 60 years of experience covering high school sports in our area.Logan grad wrote:Looking forward to doing the play by play for WXTQ this season with Ryan Boyd. Did these football guru's put the sultan out of work or did he leave on his terms?

The Sultan left on his own terms. Would have enjoyed a fourth season with him, but he decided to hang up his cleats, I mean mic ...

Re: Power 105 WXTQ
Will the new show be a call in show where the listeners can actually call in and talk about the games or will it be like the old show, where the host and his sidekick talked about there silly nicknames.TheLot wrote:93Bulldog wrote:We are definitely pleased to have Mark Hunter, Kevin Dunigan and Tom Fearns doing the post game show, power 105 game of the week and Athens Bulldogs football on 970WATH respectively.
