I see 6 teams that I’m pretty sure will get in. As a Trojans fan this region is brutal. A 7-3 record will not get you in. Trojans going to have to bring there A game every Friday.

off the top I'd say burg n ironton, Amanda clearceek, Portsmouth, Coshocton, and Johnstown. look like likely suspects. I'm sure one of the Columbus schools will be in the mix. liberty union, maybe west .

I was there last summer and the local gas station was the supermarket and hub of the town.

That was Eastwood Bait. Ridgewood will be very good this year. They return almost everyone and a QB that put up great numbers last year as a Freshman I believe. My early prediction includes Wheelersburg, Ironton, Johnstown, Ridgewood, Amanda Clearcreek, Liberty Union, Columbus Academy and a toss up for the 8th spot. It's possible that other than Burg and Ironton, there may not be another Southern Ohio team make the playoffs in this region. A lot of football to play though.

That is a strong list of teams. Of course the other component is what type of schedule those teams are playing. The tougher the schedule, the more points they get from wins which in turn cover up a loss or two point wise.

I think it might be one of the toughest and certainly one of the most competitive regions in the state this year.
